Supported by Gujarat Pollution Control Board, and Implemented by Plasma Energy Applied Technologies Ankleshwar Pvt. Ltd.

In the year 2006-2008, UNIDO, Vienna allotted Clean Technology assessment work to Jyoti Om Chemical Research Centre Pvt. Ltd., GIDC, Ankleshwar, Gujarat. The task was of studying pattern of hazardous waste generation, quantity and quality of waste and its disposal methods.

An important feature of this project (technology) is its ability to convert “waste into energy”. This is a waste destruction process. In this technology, hazardous waste is treated under very high temperature (1100-1200 °C) and in absence of oxygen to generate gaseous products, which has high energy potential.So, the process itself concludes that it’s a “Waste to energy conversion technology” and that to “CLEAN TECHNOLOGY”.The Plasma was generated using DC plasma.
